A HISTORY OF CARING
The Kibagare Good News
Centre was founded in 1980 by the late Sr. Martin Wanjiru, an Assumption
Sister of Nairobi (ASN). It began as a feeding program for 50 hungry
children suffering from malnutrition. Through the steadfast commitment
of the Assumption Sisters of Nairobi, and generous donors, the centre
has grown spectacularly and now provides the daily necessities of food,
shelter and education for over 1,000 underprivileged children and youth.

serving the poor, the Kibagare Good News Centre relies entirely on the
financial support of local and international donors. For further
